Riding the Sixth Wave

Where should we look for the wave of investments?

We’re deeply embedded in what has been described as the sixth wave of innovation.

Starting from the rise of factories and textiles, steam power and railroads, electricity and automotives, aviation, and digital media, many businesses and individuals are fully immersed in the age of machine learning and AI.

But several items are missing from charts like that of Visual Capitalist: the emergence of hybrid digital/physical realities. So alongside the mentions of AI, IoT, robotics, and cleantech, investors need to open the aperture to include mixed reality, digital twins and the metaverse.

The same is true for the larger applications involving web3 and blockchain.

Another point investors need to consider: the evolving nature of remote experiences. What can (and should) be done remotely that we haven’t done before?

Are there any other technologies you would add to this Sixth Wave?
